Founded in 1892 by John Houlding, Liverpool FC quickly rose to prominence, becoming one of England's most successful football clubs. The club’s golden era began under Bill Shankly in the 1960s, who instilled a strong work ethic, loyalty, and tactical discipline. His establishment of the "Boot Room" set the foundation for the club’s success, leading to numerous league titles and domestic cups. Bob Paisley, Shankly's successor, further elevated the club, winning 20 major trophies, including 3 European Cups, making Liverpool a force in both domestic and European football. After years without a Premier League title, Jurgen Klopp's appointment in 2015 reignited the club’s success. Under Klopp, Liverpool won their sixth Champions League title in 2019 and, in the 2019/20 season, finally clinched their long-awaited Premier League title, ending a 30-year drought.
